The SG-302 DTF printer is an advanced digital printing system engineered for high-performance Direct-to-Film (DTF) applications, combining industrial reliability with innovative features tailored for ordinary clothing such as T-shirts, hoodies, sportswear, as well as promotional items and even interior decorations.
DTF Printing Process Workflow
1.Design Preparation & Film Loading
Create or import digital artwork using RIP (Raster Image Processor) software.Load specialized PET transfer film coated with adhesive into the DTF printer
2.Inkjet Printing
Printerhesd apply CMYKW inks (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, White) onto the film.White ink forms a base layer for opacity on dark fabrics
3.Powder Application
Hot-melt adhesive powder is evenly scattered over the wet ink layer using a shaker machine.Excess powder is vacuumed off to prevent clumping
4.Curing & Drying
Pass the film through a drying oven to melt the powder, forming a flexible adhesive layer.Ensures ink-powder fusion and prevents cracking
5.Transfer to Substrate
Place the film ink-side down on the target material (e.g., cotton, polyester, leather).Use a heat press (130-160°C, 10-15 seconds) to bond the design
6.Peeling & Finishing
Peel off the film ,revealing the transferred design.
